"LVC - The Promise and the Challenge"
ABSTRACT
Mr. Stanhouse will address the urgency and importance of Live Virtual Constructive Operational Training (LVC-OT) for the USAF and how its implementation depends on advanced simulation technologies for both emerging systems as well as legacy training assets. LVC evolution will see an initiative to advance the integration of live training with networked simulations to create an operational training environment that allows the Combat and Mobility Air Forces (CAF/MAF) to fully employ their equipment under realistic combat conditions. Legacy training systems will be impacted as greater reliance on their ability to realistically portray the flight envelope, combat environment, and mission space increases.
