Leveraging from research and development efforts recently deployed on its civil simulators, the CAE Medallion 6000 product is being enhanced to match its photo-realistic rendering capabilities. Depicted in this image is the increased content quality and density, fully configurable using CDB 3.2 based dynamic editing capabilities, to allow simulation of busy and cluttered environments such as airports.Also showcased are some of the advanced 3D rendering techniques involved in the rendering of wet patches, within which the environments not only produce high-quality reflections but those are also properly distorted by rain drops. These are some of the details that make a difference when it comes to bring the trainee immersive experience as close as possible to the real thing.
