Mr. Terry Linn is the Display Systems Manager for the Visual Simulation Systems division of FlightSafety International (FSI) in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to designing display products for visual systems, Terry worked at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company designing cockpit displays from 1982 to 1990. Since joining the visual simulation division in 1990, his skill and leadership have been instrumental to the successful VITAL product line and its SkyLight projection system. Mr. Linn was a lead designer on the initial SkyLight projector produced in the early 1990s and led the system design and coordination for the development of the SkyLight 1000 projectors. His latest design, the SkyLight 1500, has been in production since late 2004. As the Display Systems Manager, Mr. Linn manages all engineering activities associated with FlightSafety's display products including projection systems, cross-cockpit collimated displays, and direct image dome products. He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and has done some graduate work at the University of Missouri in Rolla.
