VITA
Karl D. Pfeiffer is a Principal Engineer with Atmospheric and Environmental Research working with Air Force, Navy and Army simulation communities to improve the natural environment representation and physics-based weather impacts within these systems. Prior to joining AER, Karl served as an Air Force officer and faculty at the Naval Postgraduate School in command and control (C2) and decision support. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the Air Force Institute of Technology and PhD in Atmospheric Science from North Carolina State University.
