COURSE
B: "The Fast Pace of Change in Visual Systems"
COURSE LEVEL: Basic-Intermediate
DATE & TIME: 8 June - Wednesday, 7:00-9:00pm
INSTRUCTOR: Paul Lyon, Barco Simulation
COURSE CONTENT:
In these times of tighter budgets, there is additional push to transfer more training hours into simulators to save money. Visual system technology is evolving more rapidly than in the past. The fast pace of this change creates exciting opportunities for better visual simulation. However the adoption of new technology is hindered by things like: risk aversion, initial cost, misinformation and new product availability. This course will address what innovations are on the horizon, the difficulties associated with them and the benefits they will bring to our industry.
This course will include:
- What are new technologies of interest to our industry
- What are the pros and cons
- What are the benefits of adopting the new technology
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Professionals involved in the use, management, specification, design and/or maintenance of display systems.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS TO BE ATTAINED:
This course gives the participants a chance to update their knowledge about visual systems and become better informed about new emerging technology.
